Sitting the 11 plus can be nerve-racking experience for your child. Participating in mock examinations is an excellent way of helping to put them at ease on the day and of building their confidence. Vitally for parents, they can also be invaluable for gauging a child’s progress and identifying both strengths and areas that require focus going forward on their journey towards the exam itself.

In the months before the 11 plus exam, we hold a number of mock exams for the Newport (and other West Midlands group)  grammar schools regardless of whether children attend our tuition classes or not.

A realistic Exam Experience 

Each 11 Plus mock test follows the same structure and timings of the exams the children will sit in September, providing as authentic an exam experience as possible. All tests take place under exam conditions and last for approximately two and a half hours. Personal feedback will be provided during a telephone appointment in the week following the exam.

Exams take place from 9:30am-12pm at Harper Adams University and cost  £55 per student per exam or £100 for both when booked together. 

 

When are our Mock exams?

We currently have no mock exams scheduled. The next set will to take place in December.
